Ok, I'm ready to get this started. I have 1 more scene I want to add to my film before it is complete. I'm sure there will be a few tweaks to be made.

CREW
I would like to extend a request to my film friends out there to be a part of this project. I will be happy to forward a copy of the script upon request. I haven't worked with everyone yet, so I ask that you email me your contact information, what position you would like to have (director, producer, cinematographer, editor, miscellaneous crew etc...) and tell me what your experience in that area is. I would like to sit down with you and discuss things and go over my ideas in a relaxed setting. If you just want to consult and give ideas, that's fine too.

Most of the scenes will be shot at my house, a few outdoor scenes and one in a bar. Nothing real complex. The outdoor scenes will be relatively short and have a lot of action/movement (running, merry go round or similar, swings etc...). I need someone good with the camera for some interesting shots I want to do in the bar scene. I do not have any equipment, so I ask that you provide your own materials required for the position you apply for. I'll see what else I can do to make you comfortable as there is no budget for this. (Snacks, drinks etc...I'm a great cook!!) Other volunteers will be needed for the crew such as boom mic holders, gophers or any other miscellaneous jobs that may come about. This would be a great learning experience for those wanting to see what it's like to work on set. You will be provided with copy and credit for your hard work.

There will be a very small cast. Most scenes only have the 2 lead roles, one will have 5 in a group setting and then quite a few for the bar scene. So a majority of the time, there will be few to work with. 

CAST
The 2 lead roles are filled. 

GROUP SCENE: (Any race)
4 handsome males between 28 and 40. Ruggedly handsome, clean cut, sporty/jock looks or obviously muscular, like a rugby or football player. You will get camera time. It's a short scene, but you will be seen. No acting experience necessary. You will be watching a football game. Must be able to get into it. Prefer you to be a Dallas Cowboys fan, but that's not necessary. Try to locate some sort of Cowboys apparel such as hats, jerseys, T-shirts to wear. Would love to have a cameo with Tony Romo (hint hint Lol). 

BAR SCENE (Likely to be filmed in Memphis near Union/I-240):

The bar scene will be a little different. It will take place in a gay bar. Or make-shift gay bar. Will need average looking women of all sizes, races and types. Butch types a plus!! Any look for men will do. Flamboyant also a big plus! This is a clean scene so there will not be any groping or obvious girl/girl or guy/guy kissing etc... Would like to see people who would be comfortable in a scene like this holding hands, hugging, slow dancing and just sitting/standing around talking. Need 1 person or 2 to sing a karoake song in the background. It can be 1 person alone or 2 doing a duet. Just be able to somewhat carry a tune. 
No acting experience necessary. Know how to take direction. Probably will be 21+ ages due to being at a bar during operational hours. Please submit anyway just in case we have to find an alternate location where 18+ would be acceptable. You will need to show proof of age!

BAR SCENE ROLES SUMMARY: (You do not have to be gay, just be able to legitimately play the role) 21+

FLAMBOYANT MALE BARTENDER - (Brief speaking role) any race. Must have black slacks, white button down shirt and a red or black bow tie.

TRANNIE MALE BOUNCER - (Short speaking role) any race, Big bouncer type body (not fat), deep authoratative voice, but truly feminine with a lisp. Must be able to dress as a woman and have access to a dress/shoes/wig. Send a pic of the outfit you wish to wear for approval. If you don't want to wear in the pic, just lay or hand the outfit and take a pic of it.

KAROAKE DJ - Part is potentially filled. Male or female. Use this as an alternate choice to what you submit for. Must be comfortable on the mic and talking in front of an audience.

WAITRESS - (non speaking) must have black slacks, white button down shirt and a black or red bow tie.

GAY COUPLE - (Brief speaking roles) Males, any race.

1-2 GAY SINGERS DOING A KARAOKE SONG - Male or female. Either a solo song or a duet. If you know someone who knows a duet that you can sing, notate this will be a dual role for you and a friend and what songs you know. Otherwise notate it is a solo performance. Must be able to "get into" the song.

Miscellaneous "gay" men or women. Women of average or below looks, "Butch" looking. Any look for men, notate if you can be flamboyant (do not need to be for all roles) men should dress the part, upscale, wild, cool sunglasses, hats or vests, relaxed etc... Remember, you do not have to be gay to play the part, just be believable. If you plan to wear something that is not relaxed, send a picture of you in the outfit you want to wear so it can be approved, IN ADDITION to the headshot.

Miscellaneous roles: Other parts may come up depending on scene changes, this could be outdoor background parts, such as walking in the park with a dog, jogging etc...

For roles that have speaking parts, you will be contacted for a small audition.
